This is a GREAT product. I would have given it five stars if it had a digital thermostat. Don't let other reviews about leakage stop you from buying this unit (see cons). It's easily avoided. br /br /PROSbr /It's less than 0. br /br /It has five preset temp settings (140, 180, 190, 208)br /br /It has a safety button to Dispense water (you must press the Lock/Unlock then press the Dispense button)br /br /The electrical cord easily comes off = this is a great feature, the machine will never 'snap' back if you move it or lift it w/the cord still attached = thus you will never have spillagebr /br /It has a very large and sturdy handle to carry.br /br /The lid has a safty latch = you must press and lift to get it open (great if you have kids).br /br /It has a clear window indicating the water level.br /br /The inside has a little bulb screen filter = easy to clean and never needs replacing.br /br /The unit has a nonstick lining that makes it easy to cleanbr /br /It has a 6 hr. timer (which I never used)br /br /You have hot water any time you want it - as long as it's plugged in.br /br /CONSbr /It has four preset temps. If your a serious tea drinker, the four temps are just fine. But, if you're a die-hard tea drinker you might want other temps and this unit is not for you. I drink tea (black, herbal, green) all day and am very happy w/my unit. br /br /Yes the unit leaks if you fill it to it's maxium. It doesn't really leak but it will start pouring out from the spout, which can be dangerous if you have little children. Boiling water EXPANDS and needs extra room. So, DO NOT FILL IT ALL THE WAY. Leave about 1/2 inch from the top. If you give it some room, it will NEVER leak. br /br /

Interior rusted at one year - smiles - Burlington,Ma USA
The device is practical and provides warm and hot water in a consistent way. It also provides a useful delay for not being at home for 6 hours. I would be better programmable or at least 7 or 8 hours.br /I only provided 2 stars because before the year went by the interior layer got rusted at the bottom. Now, I am hesitant to use because of this. The bad part is I realized this after the warranty was over.br /
